Mr. Ahmad Hasnain Executive Committee Member (LCCI)

Mr. Ahmad Hasnain had his schooling at Aitchision College  followed by B.Com from Hailey College of Commerce, Punjab University. He obtained his MBA in 1989 from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. (LUMS)
He has been serving as Managing Director & CEO of Allied Marketing for the last 22 years. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Lahore Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Ltd. He is currently serving the Punjab Board of Investment & Trade as member of the Senior Advisory Council as well as Consultant to SMEDA.

He has also made significant contribution by serving as Executive Committee Member of the Board of Investment and as Vice Chairman, Regional Standing Committee on R&D, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

His Company, Allied Marketing, is a business house specialized in the distribution of products and services, operative since 1898. It is a business concern that carries the distinction of being the first Pakistani Business House to attain more than 100 years of operations in this community. They handle distribution of leading Blue Chip multinational and national companies marketing global brands.

Before Partition, the group provided distribution services to Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited, Lever Brothers India Limited, Lipton India Limited & ICI India Limited.

Post independence, present and past distribution experience is of leading companies like Pakistan Tobacco Company, Unilever Pakistan, Lipton Ltd, ICI Pakistan, Shell Pakistan, Packages Ltd, Abbott & Glaxo etc.

He is a visiting faculty member at LUMS, Institute of Administrative Sciences, Punjab University and Kinnaird University.

Hasnain has undertaken various social work assignments for well known charitable institutions. He is Member of the Managing Committee - Gulab Devi Chest Hospital, Lahore and Member of the Board of Trustees - Dr. Amir-ud-Din Trust, Lahore.
 
He is the recipient of the “Businessman’s Millenium Award” at All Pakistan Old Hailians Association Annual dinner.

He has also been a Member of the Executive Committee Alumni Association – Graduate School of Business Administration (LUMS).

Apart from above, we would also like to mention that his father Sheikh Muhammad Ilmas has served on the Executive Committee of LCCI in 1967-68 and has been one of the founding members of the LCCI.
