In 2005, Mian Abdul Rehman Aziz Chan graduated in Law with honors from University of London. He worked with one of the leading law firms in Pakistan, Salman Akram Raja & Ass., on high profile cases such as “Master tiles Vs Chinese manufacturers and exporters of ceramic and graffito tiles”, advised and assisted SECP in the pre court proceedings in SECP Vs Crescent Standard Investment Bank Limited and in drafting rules and agreements for the Privatization Commission of Pakistan, assisted the Court in a winding up petition for Waqar-u-Din Vs U.I.L. (Kashmir Banaspati), represented A.B.L. at High Court, Lahore, in a debt recovery case: A.B.L. Vs Ittefaq Foundry and successfully did a considerable number of  bank recovery and financial liability cases.  .

Rehman Aziz has an industrial background, dealing, primarily, in steel and cold chain projects. He is the director of Siddique Iron Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Sakhi Steel Mills (Pvt.) Ltd., and CEO of M/s. Rehman Steel Furnace (Pvt.) Ltd., Naveed Faheem Steel Mills and Siddique Cold Storages. He is managing partner in Iqra Cold Storages.

He is among the founder members and director of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), where he was part of the team who developed policy, strategy, structure, vision, and shaping of the said Organization. He is the Sector Head of Energy, Mines and Minerals at PBIT also the project leader of Punjab's iron ores extraction and conversion into steel projects. He was a keynote speaker in Punjab investment conferences held in Lahore and Karachi, and showcased the iron ore projects. These accumulated efforts have resulted in receiving an 'Expression of Interest' from an international investor worth U.S. $ 2 Billion. He has represented the government on the forum of DEIK (Turkish Official Investment Promotion Agency) and P.B.I.T. C.E.O Conference, held at Istanbul, Turkey.

In the energy sector he has helped addressing the issue of energy and developing a strategy to eradicate the current energy shortfalls in the shortest possible time. He was a vital part of the team that organized and participated in Energy Roundtable Conference and took Pakistan Sugar Mills Association on board to develop captive power plants on indigenous bio-fuel at their mills and articulated road maps on how to provide millers with the means to deliver the projects. He also participated in Carbon Trading Workshops.

His articles on various issues have been published in the leading newspapers and web, and depict his insight, vision and commitment. The recent article been published in Punjab Economic Review.
