Mr. Hasnain Reza Mirza Executive Committee Member (LCCI)

Mr. Hasnain Reza Mirza got two Master Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from USSR and USA. He had studied in USSR on a scholarship from Government of Pakistan and on USA on Scholarship from USAID.

He has over 20 years of overall engineering and management experience out of which 10 years of senior corporate management and policy planning and 07 years of R&D experience. Experienced in Project and Policy Planning, International Contracts and Techno-Legal Interpretations. Served and serving as Chairman of several Boards of Management, international and national committees, organizations and power projects. He has also served as Advisor to the Chairman NAB, AJ&K, Chairman SUPARCO and Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. He was Dean of School of Computer Sciences and Information Technology at National College of Business Administration and Economics for two years.

Appointed as Vice Chairman of Pakistan Halal Product Development Board. He had been appointed as the Commissioner to Pakistan by the MECC Award Head Quarter of Islamic Chamber Research and Information Centre (ICRIC) Of OIC in 2008.Served as the Chairman of LCCI Standing Committee for OIC. Member of Pak-Iran Joint Arbitration Committee formed by LCCI and Mashhad Chambers. Got nominated as “Special Envoy” to represent private sector of Pakistan at OIC/ICCI meeting at Dushanbe, Tajikistan in 2010.

He had worked as Chairman of the Pakistan Section of IEEE Inc. USA for two years. Chairman of the Recognized Education Program Committee (REPCOM) of IEEE Inc. USA for three years (this Committee deals with international evaluation and accreditation of engineering education programs). Also worked as Managing Director of Special Assignments & Systems (Pvt) Ltd. As Senior Engineer in Dr. A.Q. Khan Research Labs. Kahuta and in PAKTEL as Operations Engineer of Cellular Mobile Phones Operations.
