About the Execuitve Committee :
Shahid Hassan Sheikh is the Cheif Executive of Lahore Carpet Mfg.Company,one of the country's leading manufactures and exporters of hand-knotted carpets.It's been a generation's experience of his family through which they always keep themselves on edge for boosting up the county's export using the best quality of craftsmanship. He has a constant track record in representing the country's premier Chamber of Lahore as Vice President in 1994 besides the member of Exective from 1994 to 1997.During the tenure he remained Convener of different Standing Committees.In his carpets trade community,he was the Executive Committee member of Pakistan Carpets Manufacturers and Exporters Association in 1991 to 1992. In Social Sector,he is one of the Founder members of Care & Fair Pakistan and has been serving as Chairman since 1997 to-date. The Association is striving for the welfare of carpets weaving families in providing the best standard education and health fcailities at their door-step absolutely free of cost. He has also been one of the Trustees of Medicare Trust,under which a free well-equipped Hospital is in operation for the needy and poor families in the center of Lahore City . He is one of the Executive members of Sundas Foundation Board, the NGO Providing blood transfusion facility to the deserving patients. Recently he has also been elected as the Senior Vice President of IRWA(Izmir Residents Welfare Association) basides a member of Development Committee Constituted by PECHS for Izmir Housing Society. Besides representing the buesiness community at all levels of Government and non-Government Forums effectively,he also traveled extensively abroad and has a clear vision that Pakistani products have great potential in the world markets and we just need to miantain our standards to ensure a permanent presence there.
