Sheikh Muhammad Arshad is the Chief Executive of Newage Tanneries. He has over 35-year experience of dealing in leather and leather products. He is the first Pakistani businessman who started Hide & Skins import from East Africa.

Sheikh Muhammad Arshad has the honor of serving the business community as Vice President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2005. LCCI Achievement Awards, which has attained the status of the most prestigious business gathering in the country was also initiated in his tenure as Vice President.

He is the Chairman of All Pakistan Hide & Skins Importer,  President of Lahore Hide and Skin Merchants Traders Group and also the Chairman of Darul Shafa Hospital in Hide Market, Lahore. He was the Chairman Pakistan Industrial & Traders Association Front (PIAF) in 2002-03.
