RESCHEDULE OF INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON UNLOCKING THE VALUE OF INDIGENOUS GEMSTONES, 17-20 NOVEMBER 2026, ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN

In view of the prevailing circumstances and possible political protest in Islamabad commencing from 04 October 2026, the International Workshop on “Unlocking the Value of Indigenous Gemstones,” originally scheduled to be held from 05 to 08 October 2026.

Keeping in view the availability of the Resource Speakers from Thailand, the revised dates for the subject workshop are 17th to 20th November 2026. The Details for registration are as follows:

Date & Venue:	17 - 20 November 2026, Best Western Premier Hotel, Islamabad (Time:09 AM to 05 PM)
Participation Fee:	PKR. 25,000 per applicant for Private Sector PKR. 15,000/- per applicant for Public Sector and
Certificate:	APO, Japan will issue E-certificate to the participant against full participation in the program.
Methodology:	In house session, themed presentations, sharing of country experiences, action plans by participants (if any), Gemstones Display on 1st Day (17th November 2026)

Multicountry Workshop on Enterprise Development and Development of Innovative Startup Business Ecosystems, 02 - 05 November 2026, Singapore (face to face), Self-Finance basis

The National Productivity Organization (NPO), Ministry of Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Japan, is pleased to announce participation opportunities for Pakistani citizens through a competitive selection process for the following program on self-finance basis:

26-SPP-SG-F1-01: Multicountry Workshop on Enterprise Development and Development of Innovative Startup Business Ecosystems, 02 - 05 November 2026, Singapore (Face to Face: Self Finance basis)NPO Deadline: 28^th September 2026. (Kindly ignore the closing date mentioned in APO-Japan link) Note: APO Japan has requested that all applicants to fill their Biodata Form through Online Portal (previous APO Bio-data form in MS Excel format is not acceptable as per new APO policy)

2. Ten (10) International participants from APO Member countries will take part in this program. APO Secretariat, Japan will issue E-CERTIFICATE against full attendance.

CV on plain paper including date of birth, domicile (district & province), education, experience, and details of foreign trainings attended during the recent past.
Copy of National Identity Card.
Copy of the passport's first page, with a minimum validity of eights months.
Copy of domicile certificate.
Nomination letter on NPO prescribed format, available on website (http://npo.gov.pk/apo/).
Case processing fee: original scanned Fee payment receipt (Prerequisite), non-refundable upon withdrawal or dismissal.
Sign the Undertaking on a PKR. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) stamp paper

4. Case of only shortlisted nominee’s will forward to APO, Japan for further evaluation. The final selection of nominee’s rests with the APO screening committee (not challengeable) subject to No financial liability on NPO Pakistan and APO Japan.

5. Processing Fee (Prerequisite) Non-refundable: PKR 4,000/- per applicant for Public Sector and PKR 6,000/- per applicant for Private Sector. Fee payment receipt in both cases either cash deposit in bank or online payment should be sent through email (bank details are available at NPO website).

6. In case of Selection participants from both the Public and Private Sectors will be responsible for bearing all kind of expenses related to their participation, including, International airfare, Boarding and lodging, Visa fee, Travel/medical insurance, PCR testing, Airport taxes, any other applicable charges/cancellation charges and any other personal or incidental expenses.

7. Visa is the responsibility of the selected candidate, we would also encourage any prospective applicant to check the applicable visa requirements and expected processing time at the earliest opportunity.

8. The incomplete and late nominations received after the above mentioned deadline will not be processed. Applicants fulfilling the prescribed criteria in respective APO Activity Notification may apply for the relevant program.
