The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a special seminar on the success of “Marka-e-Haq” and Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. The event brought together representatives of different religions, members of the business community, and civil society, who demonstrated strong unity and solidarity. LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol chaired the seminar. Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh, Executive Committee Members Rana Nisar, Shouban Akhtar, Mohsin Bashir, Convener of the Interfaith Harmony Committee Sardar Bhishan Singh, Allama Muhammad Zubair Abid, Pandit Bhagat Lal, Dr. Majeed, Pastor Emmanuel Khokhar, Dr. Saleem Masih, Sohail Raza, Jitender Singh, Pastor Asif, Haji Ishaq, Qari Khalid, Shehzad Khan, Asim Makhdoom and others were also present.
In his address, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol said that this display of interfaith harmony and solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces proves that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its military. He said the nation is united like a solid wall to ensure the country’s security.
He termed the success of “Marka-e-Haq” as historic, stating that it reflects the professionalism, courage, and sacrifices of the armed forces. He also paid tribute to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, saying that the country has achieved important milestones under their leadership. The LCCI President said that people of all religions in Pakistan are united for the country’s defense and stability, and this seminar is a clear example of that unity. He emphasized that religious harmony and national unity are Pakistan’s greatest strengths, enabling the country to face all challenges effectively.
He further said that the success of “Marka-e-Haq” is not limited to the defense front, but its positive impact is also visible at the global level, where Pakistan is being seen as a responsible state working for peace. He added that Pakistan has the potential to play a constructive role in resolving global conflicts, enhancing its international reputation.
Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol stressed that the time has come to focus on strengthening the economy and transforming Pakistan into a strong economic power. He highlighted the importance of increasing exports, promoting industrial growth, and especially boosting defense exports to stabilize the economy. He urged the business community to play an active role in national development.
Participants of the seminar paid tribute to the armed forces for the success of “Marka-e-Haq” and reaffirmed their commitment to contributing towards the country’s security, stability, and progress. Leaders from different religions agreed that unity is Pakistan’s true strength and must be preserved at all costs.
The seminar concluded with special prayers for the country’s security, development, and prosperity, along with a renewed pledge to work collectively for a strong, stable, and prosperous Pakistan.
